Welcome to the first blog for Active Schools in Cove!! If you are a pupil, parent or teacher at Charleston or Loirston I hope to use this blog as a way of letting you know what activities are being organised by Active Schools in Cove.
I would also like your comments on activities that have been already organised. What do you think of the activities that are currently available? Are there any sports / activities that you would like Active Schools to set up in Cove?
Here’s a question to get you started:
The Netball club at Loirston is stopping for this term this week, as it doesn’t seem to have been as popular as last year. If you are P4-7, would you a be interested in continuing Netball next term, and if so, which day is the best day to run the club?

It’s good to see the active Schools blog up and running. Our school internet connection isn’t working at the moment as we had an upgrade but as soon as it is, the pupils will be encouraged to comment on your blog.

Hi, Mark. (I feel supercool as a granny who’s blogging!) I’m sorry to hear there has been a poor response to netball this session - it’s such a good game and I know there is a good adult league in Aberdeen.
I’ll try and persuade more girls to give it a try. Keep up the good work.

I think the date is fine and netball is fun so if you had to change the date it would be fine with me as long as its not on the weekend.

I think the day could be changed because I have some thing at the same time as netball. Mabey a Tuseday or monday.

I think the day of netball is ok but i would like it to change to Tuesday so it is not a rush for me after dancing.

i would like the day of net ball to be changed because i have other thing on that day. but i wpuld mange on monday and tuseday.

i think you should change it to a monday or a tuesday because i have things on on a wednesday,Thursday and i’m sure noone would really like to do it on a friday because it’s the weekend.
